Former Warri Wolves Star Oghenekaro Etebo scored his first ever LaLiga goal to help Getafe secure a 1-1 home draw against Eibar on Saturday.

Etebo, currently on loan to Getafe from Stoke City, gave his side the lead in the 30th minute but on the stroke of half-time Eibar equalised thanks to Charles, before Etebo was replaced on 69 minutes for Jason after he sustained a muscle injury.The game was Etebo’s ninth LaLiga appearance this season.


Wilfred Ndidi  was on for the entire duration for third placed Leicester City, who were held 1-1 by Watford on Saturday.

His compatriot, Kelechi Iheanacho, came on in the 83rd minute for his 13th league appearance of the season.



In the English Championship, Semi Ajayi saw full 90 minutes of actionin West Brom’s barren draw at home to Birmingham.


In the Italian Serie A, defender Ola Aina came on for Alex Berenguer in the 68th minute of Torino’s 1-1 home draw against Parma.

Nicolas N’koulou gave Torino the lead after 15 minutes but Juraj Kicks restored parity on the half hour mark.

The game was Aina’s 21st appearance in the league this season.

In Germany, striker Anthony Ujah was on for 62 minutes in Union Berlin’s 4-0 loss to Hoffenheim on Saturday.

Right-back Jamilu Collins, was in action as relegated Paderborn were beaten 3-1 at home by Monchengladbach.

Super Eagles new boy Kingsley Ehizibue was substituted on  87 minutes  in Koln’s 1-1 home draw against Eintracht Frankfurt.
