The report adds that the match was then stopped for Sane to receive medical attention but the 31-year-old indicated that she was fine.
The Pirate Princess is then said to have insisted on finishing the match during Tuesday’s tapings which WWE will now edit before airing on Monday.
Respected wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer then corroborated the report with Nia Jax coming in for heavy criticism from fans.
The incident comes just a month after the 35-year-old, real name Savelina Fanene, was accused of being “dangerous” in the ring after she threw Kairi Sane neck first into the turnbuckle.
Jax, who recently appeared to hit out at Ronda Rousey for consistently hurting Alexa Bliss during matches, has been involved in similar botches before.
And the likes of the Goddess herself, as well as Ember Moon and Zelina Vega have all ended up injured after battling The Irresistible Force.
But chief among them was Becky Lynch, who had her nose broken by Jax prior to Survivor Series, which in turn canceled her bout with Rousey.
