OMERUO EULOGIZES LATE KESHI IN EMOTIONAL TRIBUTE

Super Eagles and  CD Leganes defence trojan Kenneth Omeruo has paid glowing  tributes to  former Coach Steven Keshi who passed away on this day four years ago.

 

In an emotionally laden message posted via his  Instagram page, the former Standard Liege starlet heaped praises on the ‘Big boss’ for the numerous chances and instrumental role in helping him become a mainstay in the  senior national team.

 

Omeruo expressed gratitude for the endlesess encouragement and guidance he received under Keshi’s tutelage while praying for the continous repose of his loving soul.

 

In an illustrious career Spanning over 25 years, late Keshi spearheaded the exodus of Nigerian players abroad , led the eagles to nations cup glory and her maiden world cup appearance in 1994  and became the first african to lead a side to the knockout phases of the World cup in 2014.
