Former Super Eagles and Montpellier forward John Utaka is about to return to the training center of his former club Montpellier, for his coaching badges.
Utaka played for the former French club between 2011 and 2013, making a total of 68 appearances while scoring 12 goals during that time.
According to a report from the French website, francebleu.fr, the Nigerian will begin his coaching courses in the coming weeks for his diplomas as a teacher and coach.
“Less than a month ago, several changes were made to the organizational structure of Montpellier Hérault, including the retirement of Robert Nouzaret, and the non-renewal of Laurent Robert’s contract. Today there are significant arrivals, which will be recorded,” the website stated.
“Star striker of the club from 2011 to 2013, John Utaka (38) will join Montpellier’s training center in the coming weeks”.
