Yaya Touré joins Vasco Da Gama

Brazilian top-division side Vasco Da Gama has announced the signing of the Ivorian midfielder, Yaya Touré.

A candidate for the presidency of Vasco Da Gama, Luiz Leven Siano released a video of the deal on his Instagram page.

Mr. Siano posted the video on Instagram on Thursday as he claims he has an agreement with Yaya Toure and the player also confirmed the information with a video of his own.

“Welcome Mr. Yaya Touré. Thank you for trusting Vasco de Gama. It will be Vasco!!” Mr. Luiz Siano said.

In response, the four-time African footballer of the year released his own video in which he stated his position, and confirmed the deal.

“I would like to thank Leven for including me in this project…. I can’t wait to see all the Vasco fans very soon. It will be Vasco” Touré concluded.

The midfielder at 37, has spent the last two years of his career in Greece and China.

Yaya Touré has had a very successful career so far, winning titles in Greece, Spain, and England, including the prestigious UEFA Champions League trophy and the African Cup of Nations with the Elephants of Côte d’Ivoire.
